ROPS-RT1 Self-led & Rogue arena updates!

As we gear up for our next live ROPS-RT1 course (July 8-12), we are excited to share some new updates to Rogue Arena and ROPS-RT1 self-led development.

New Rogue Arena Features

First up… a sneak peek of an upcoming feature, File Vault!

Users can upload open-source toolsets to their own personal or team filevault for easy retrieval while operating in Rogue Arena scenarios. Once files are uploaded, multiple files can then be pushed to any viewable virtual machine. This allows users to train with new Cobalt Strike UDRLs, BOFs, or even all-new C2 infrastructure or other tools.

We've also made several other improvements to enhance the overall Rogue Arena user experience:

  • Improved Resolution Management: Enhanced resolution management while users are simultaneously viewing the same virtual machine.

  • FastTrack Keys: After completing a lab in Rogue Arena, users will unlock a FastTrack key for that specific lab. This allows them to short cut and obtain a beacon directly from the lab machine needed to complete the lab. This will be extremely helpful for students who decide to upgrade a range deployment, but want to start right from where they left off in their training.

  • Several Backend Course Improvements: We've continued development of the Rogue Arena backend preparing for the self-led ROPS-RT1 release. This includes tracking registered courses, viewing certificates of completion, tracking subscription status, viewing usage metrics, and registering for ROPS-RT1 certification tests.

ROPS-Rt1 Self-Led

We’re in all out production mode on the self-led format of ROPS-RT1.

This includes:

  • Recording and producing all lecture and lab video content (80% complete)

  • Finalizing the student welcome package which is shipped to each student and contains all course content, swag items, and welcomes students to the course

  • Various Rogue Arena developments to support ROPS-RT1 self-led registration
